Trafalgar Road

Being based within the Port of Southampton brings with it many challenges and with YAL bringing in ever-increasing volume of vehicles, space can be an issue. Over the past year YAL has found it necessary to relocated its vehicle storage yards from European Way to Trafalgar Road, Eastern Docks and with the close relationship between YAL and ABP this was arranged.

The new yards are situated in a more advantageous geographical area allowing a faster more reliable discharge and at the same time greatly reducing the distance that the vehicles are driven from the ships to the yards. This will enable us to continue to provide the highest service to our valued customers.

Hand in hand with the recent move we have also introduced a dedicated Booking in system for vehicle transporters enabling YAL to maximise releases at the same time minimising traffic congestion and thus providing our customers with a stress free experience.
