One of the many challenges we face when shipping vehicles around the world is simply the problem of 'time', maybe a vehicle is taking part in a race or perhaps the cargo is being showcased in an exhibition.

One such project we recently undertook was to ship a Routemaster bus that had been modified and turned into a Playbus. The bus had to arrive into a major exhibition in Florida as a lot was riding on future sales. However the bus itself would not be ready for shipping until the last minute which put everyone under extreme pressure to ensure everything went like clockwork - from the vehicle arriving at the port of Southampton to the Customs Clearance in the United States . With the assistance of one of our local U.S. agents we succeeded to ship the vehicle on time arriving at the exhibition with time to spare.

As weather can be a major factor in delays and customs clearance in the port of discharge can take up to 48 hours we would always advise anyone looking to ship cargo where time is sensitive to plan any future shipments with this in mind.
