Naming Ceremony of a brand new EUKOR vessel

YA Logistics Ltd UK Director, Ian Jacobs, attended the Naming Ceremony of a brand new EUKOR vessel on the 26th March 2008 at Mokpo, South Korea.

The vessel " Morning Composer " has 12 Decks and can load 6500 Passenger vehicles and cost approximately USD$75,000,000. EUKOR have a total of 11 new builds being launched in 2008 to cater for the The Naming Ceremony was of particular importance to YA Logistics Ltd and their Japanese Partner, YUWA Shipping, as Mrs Mariko Murakami had the honour of being  the Lady Sponsor of the vessel, and Mariko is the wife of Mr Kazumasa Murakami, the President of YUWA Shipping.

Commenting on the Naming Ceremony, Ian Jacobs said " It is a huge honour for Mariko Murakami to be named as the God Mother of Morning Composer and will further strengthen the business ties between both EUKOR and YA Logistics Ltd ". Initially, the vessel will be loading in Nagoya, Japan in early April before operating between the Far East and South America, however the vessel will be expected in Southampton later in 2008.
